Ernest Mbanefo is a highly acclaimed strategic and
industry leader with over 38 years of expertise in the
real estate and energy sectors, particularly in oil and
gas operations, project management, and business
development. Known for his dynamic strategic
approach, Ernest has successfully led businesses,
managed project executions, and conducted highvalue negotiations, positioning companies for longterm success. He currently serves as a board member
for two successful firms and is a trustee for various
local and international non-profits. Passionate about
youth empowerment and healthy living, he actively
mentors emerging leaders and spearheads impactful
initiatives.
Ernest holds a B.Eng. (Hons) degree in Civil
Engineering from the University of Nigeria Nsukka and
an MBA from the University of Calabar. He has several
certifications in Project Management, Contract
Management, Investment Analysis, Gas Distribution,
Leadership, and Health, Safety, and Environment. As a
graduate of the Haggai Leadership Institute in Maui,
USA, Ernest is committed to shaping the next
generation of professionals while driving operational
excellence in business especially real estate and the
energy sector.
Married to Nneka for over 40 years, Ernest is a
devoted father and grandfather. He exemplifies
values of faith, leadership, and lifelong learning,
dedicating his time to mentoring, philanthropy, and active community involvement.
